Thanks to Girl Scout Troop 264!

Here's the text of a letter that was sent to the Lititz Record Express on November 9th, 2009:

Dear Editor,

Lititz Springs Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 1463 and American Legion, Garden Spot Post 56 would like to express our gratitude to Junior Girl Scout Troop 264.

Ms. Candi Dirian and Kathy Walter organized a work detail, which prepared the grounds of the East Main Street Veteran and Revolutionary War Memorials for the Veterans Day holiday. Because of their hard work the grounds of the East Main Street Memorials were made presentable to observe Veterans Day which is the special day dedicated to all our nations veterans.

As veterans we collectively thank you for your diligence in remembering the sacrifices our veterans made safeguarding our nations freedoms.
May God Bless you for your hard work and to all those who defend our nations freedoms.
